Receive a time request form via email -OR- an email/text from the office with the referral information. (The office can include a paper referral slip in your mailbox if preferred).
Contact the student within 24 hours if possible. Share you policies with them and schedule the first meeting. Some students want a trial lesson, so be clear on your policies around trial lessons.
Send the student the link to your registration form.
Invoice the student based on your preferred way.
Inform the office if they sign-up or not so the office can take the appropriate next steps.
Open times for lessons are listed directly on the K&S website. The office updates your openings on the website. Please fill out this form when your openings change: https://www.cognitoforms.com/ksconservatoryofmusic1/currentopeningsatksfornewstudents IMPORTANT: make sure to list ALL and ONLY the open times you have for new students on each day you are teaching at K&S.
Students can request a lesson time with you directly from our website. Both the office and you will get an email when someone fills out a request form. Please contact students within 24 hours if possible. If the student requesting a lesson time signs up, just let the office know what lesson time they took and the office will update your openings on the website, no need to fill out the form again.
Online, via Cognito Forms. Each teacher has a link to their personalized registration form. The same form can be used for every semester during the year since students can select the semester they are registering for. Please keep the office updated on any policy or tuition price changes throughout the year and the office will update your form.

When a student fills out a form, both the teacher and the office will receive an email notification.

Fill out your list of students by the first week of a new semester. Include the students name, number of lessons, length of lesson, any discounts you offered them & the date they started the semester (if they didn't start at the beginning of the semester).
Finalized student lists are due by the end of the second week of the semester.
The administrative fee for fall and spring semesters is spread over a 3-payment plan, just like the students.
If you get a new student after the beginning of a semester, please make sure to add them to your student list.
We will calculate the administrative fee and bill the teacher according to the information the teacher records on the student list.
The summer administrative fee is billed once.
If requested by a parent, the office will say that they will be given, but each teacher will have the option of charging your regular lesson fee or offering it for free. Please let the office know if you have a different policy regarding interview & trial lessons.
Adult students can be allowed flexibility in scheduling to meet their needs.
